Immingham Pilgrims Under-11s showed they can battle it out with opponents of all ages in this week’s friendly match against the ‘Dads’.
Sponsored by Premier Training, the Pilgrims youngsters have endured a frustrating season, with training and matches limited by the pandemic.
However, the young guns are back in action again – and showcased their skills this week against their more ‘experienced’ opposition.
Grimsby Town FC mascot, Mighty Mariner, even made an appearance to cheer the Pilgrims on to victory!
Pilgrims team manager James Whaley said: “As this season draws to a close we would like to thank Premier Training for their support and helping us to come from five players to 16. We couldn’t do it without you!”
