AAT Approved Training ProviderAAT Students can now book to sit selected AAT assessments remotely.
Instead of students having to attend an approved assessment centre, they can now take selected aat assessments at home on most days (including weekends) and at a time of their choosing. Students will be recorded for the duration of their assessment, and all recordings will be reviewed. Please see below the list of AAT remote assessments available and the total cost for each.

Information & Instructions
Please click here to open the AAT’s remote invigilation user guide. Please read through this, to ensure you are happy with how the remote assessments are to be held and have the minimum supporting specifications. All remote assessments must be booked and scheduled seven days in advance.

Please note that we cannot book this exam if you have not registered with the AAT so please register before completing the booking form. You can register by clicking here

Premier Training Students
As your training provider, we will also only take your booking if you have completed all of our Premier Training assignments and mock exams for the relevant unit (found on your MyPTA account).

When you are ready to book your aat remote assessments, please use the booking form on this page and will start processing your details.

External and Self Study Students
Please check with your Training Provider or the AAT if you are eligible to sit the aat remote assessments before booking with us.

As per the AAT’s remote invigilation user guide, please note these essential requirements below:

  • Webcam with a microphone required
  • Whilst a 17” monitor is recommended, laptops typically have a 14” screen. You can still sit your assessment with this, though you may be required to zoom out to see navigational buttons.
  • Must be a Windows or Macintosh operating system
  • If in a dual screen setup one screen must be unplugged or disabled
  • Stable internet connection (preferably wired)
  • You will not be permitted to use a physical calculator or notepaper during your assessment; instead you will have a calculator on screen and note-taking space will be provided in which to type.

All AAT remote assessments must be booked and scheduled seven days in advance.

If you wish to cancel the exam we require 48 hours notice, if you fail to notify us of a cancellation the invigilation fee is non-refundable.

If you would like to book an assessment and live outside of the UK please contact us first here.

Please only download the PSI browser required for the assessment from the email sent to you from the AAT. Other versions of the PSI browser are incompatible for AAT remote assessments.
