At completion you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills in bookkeeping and payroll both manual and computerised systems which will enable you to work in any area of finance or start your own Bookkeeping and Payroll business.
The ICB qualifications are awarded at three levels: Level I covers basic double-entry bookkeeping to trial balance and assumes that the student has no prior knowledge of the subject; Level II takes you up to the preparation of final accounts for a sole trader; and Level III covers the preparation of accounts for a wider range of businesses.
Examinations
The ICB has pioneered the use of online examinations. Candidates anywhere in the world will be able to undertake ICB qualifications and they will benefit from receiving their results instantly.
The ICB has partnered with Pearson Vue, a global leader in computer based testing with over 5,000 test centres in more than 165 countries and over 200 centres in the UK.
Students can book their exams with the ICB when they are ready and do not have to wait until the traditional months of June and December. Students can also re-sit an exam at anytime if necessary.
Some papers are examined at home providing the student has internet access.
