Yes. Please visit the ACCA exemptions page (by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page) to check what exemptions you may claim based on your previous qualifications
Can I go on to do other ACCA qualifications?
If you complete the Diploma in Accounting & Business Level of the Foundations in Accountancy route, you can continue your studies onto the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Qualification and qualify at technician level.
Alternatively, you can continue your studies and become a professional-level accountant. Having completed the Diploma, you can transfer to the ACCA Qualification, miss out exams F1, F2 and F3 and continue your studies from F4 onwards.
Registering with the ACCA
You can apply to become a student at any time of the year. The quickest and easiest way is to apply online and it should take you no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Applying online also allows you to upload all your supporting documents. This means your application will be processed much quicker and you will know at which level you can start your studies shortly after submitting your application (if you wish to register with the ACCA now simply follow the link on the bottom of this page).
If you can't apply online, you will need to submit a paper application form which will be provided in your welcome pack by Premier Training when you enrol.
You will be asked to pay an initial registration fee when you apply and in addition to this, an annual subscription fee will be due on 1st January each year you are registered as a student.
ASSESSMENT AND EXAMINATIONS
Computer-based exams (CBEs) are available for the first seven exam papers of the Foundations in Accountancy (not the optional papers at the CAT level) and you can sit these at any time of the year. Simply find a CBE centre and pay them directly for the exams you wish to sit.
Although you can take computer-based exams at any time, you will still need to ensure that you are registered with the ACCA as a student and in possession of your student registration number
