How long will it take to complete the programme?

There are no time restrictions and you are encouraged to progress at your own pace. On average the programme takes about three months to complete. This depends on your individual circumstances, including time available for study, your level of experience and the type of work you may already be doing.

How can you train and how much will it cost?

• Supporting Study Manual
• Telephone helpline
• Two assignments with marking and full feedback service.

Registration

• You do not need to register with the AAT to do ABC.
• You do need to register with ICB to sit the ICB examination.
• You do need to register with IAB to sit the IAB examination.

Hardware requirements

The Bookkeeping Programme is a computer-based training course. You need a PC or laptop with the following minimum specification:

• IBM compatible PC Pentium 133 or higher
• Windows 95 or later
• 16MB RAM (32MB for Windows 98)
• 20MB hard disk free space
• VGA monitor
• CD-ROM drive
• Keyboard & Mouse
