More testimonials from delighted students

“I am one of those fortunate students who gained success through equipping myself with an accounting qualification through Premier Training. Currently completing the A.A.T., I am now looking towards going onto the A.C.C.A.

“The tutors are focused on the needs of their students and are always available to discuss those needs. However, it also takes a lot of work and commitment from the students. There is always someone available to discuss problems that students may encounter either whilst at work or during the evening.

“I have always been impressed with Premier Training because not only are the staff motivated and enthusiastic, but right from the start they ensured that I chose the right course for me.

“ It is because of the strong, individual relationship I now have with Premier Training that I am confident of being given the support through the next stage of my studies. As far as I am concerned, there isn't really any alternative to Premier Training, their training and support have been second to none!”

(Christopher H., by Email.)

"Just a quick note to let you know I had a call from one of your students, yesterday praising your course. He said the CD was excellent, and that his tutor was friendly and helpful, that he is very much enjoying the course and excited to becoming a bookkeeper. Keep up the good work!"

(James from the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, 12 St James Square, LONDON SW1 4RB)

"I just wanted to write in and express to my college how great it is! I am a distance learning student based in London and my college is Premier Training in Lincolnshire. All tutors go above and beyond the call of duty to respond to questions immediately, even late at night. Thank you Premier Training for all your help through my studies. It's a pity I never got to meet all the tutors I speak to!"

(Lorraine, Essex - An extract from a letter published in the AAT magazine June 2005.)

"Originally I was nervous about undertaking the course, but the tutors were so helpful and friendly. I was surprised and pleased at how easy and well structured the course was. The CD and workbooks were marvellous. I could work in my own time and at no time did I feel swamped by the work.

Thanks to the guidance and support from my tutor I am now a self employed bookkeeper and I manage the PAYE /Payroll for several companies. I have my own website and my confidence has grown enormously."

(Greg, Liverpool)

Some Premier Training students share their story with us.

Lorraine Ludlow is now a General Ledger Accountant with CQG Ltd.

Lorraine tells us: “I have worked in banking and accountancy since the age of 17 and although I have many years practical experience, I reached a point in my career where I could not progress any further without obtaining the relevant accountancy qualifications: that is when I found Premier Training!

“My Boss recommended the AAT qualification as a good place to start, so I enrolled with Premier Training in August 2003 at AAT Intermediate Level. I chose Premier Training because of the flexibility of the course and I could choose the hours that I wanted to study. The thought of attending an evening course ending at 9.00p.m. did not appeal after a busy day working in accounts,” adds Lorraine.

“A home study course also meant that if I wanted to plan an engagement, I didn’t have to avoid certain weeknights when I would have to attend classes. I could just move my study time around to suit myself and my lifestyle.

“I could just move my study time around to suit myself and my lifestyle.”

“Fortunately I could use an office in my building to study, which meant no distractions of TV at home. However, near exam times I did need to do extra hours at weekends for revision, and using a home study course you need to be disciplined and make sure you use your allotted time to get the full benefit from your studies. Once I got into the swing of things, I found it very easy to make sure I used my allotted time to study effectively, I just sort of got into a routine!

“If I need help with my coursework, the Tutors are available by phone or e-mail and always come back to me really quickly. When doing an assignment, very useful comments and critique were offered by my dedicated Tutor (Paul Bray) at every stage. This helped me to improve on things that I needed to, and spend more time on my weaker areas.

“After working hard, three years down the line, I completed my full AAT qualification in June 2005, with first time passes in every unit. I also was accepted as a full member of the AAT in September 2005, and taking my Status to part-qualified accountant.

“I am now currently studying the CIMA qualification, and because of doing the AAT previous qualification, I was eligible to start on the managerial level, gaining exemption from the whole of the certificate level. I still have Paul as my Premier Training Tutor for CIMA as he was great for the AAT qualification, and have taken one exam in November 2005 which I also passed on my first attempt.

As a result of my success in the AAT qualification, I was given the chance to work in my employer's USA head office for three months earlier on this year and gain more practical experience on a year-end Audit.

“You need to be disciplined and make sure you use your allotted time to get the full benefit from your studies.”

“Premier Training has been great and I aim to continue with them until I become fully qualified. Thanks to Paul and Premier Training for all the valuable support and knowledge they have given me in my accountancy career!”
